Till just a few months ago he was being touted as the next BIG thing. And why not? After all he was being re-launched as none other than Shahjahan by Akbar Khan in his magnum opus 'Taj Mahal'. Though the film was decently made with Zulfi Syed showing enough sparks of being an actor who could expect a future in the industry, its miserable failure at the box office resulted in everything being ignored in a jiffy.
Zulfi indeed was facing tough times to begin it all afresh. Now he is en route to rebuilding his Bollywood career by appearing in a small time film titled 'Mr Hot Mr Cool' where he appears as Lucky a.k.a. Mr Cool. Playing a cool dude in the film, he indulges in male bonding with Yash Pandit who himself had an aborted kick start as a sole lead with 'Rok Sako To Rok Lo'.
One hopes that director Partho Ghosh makes the film worth watching at least for the youngsters and injects some life into the careers of Zulfi and Yash!
