Union Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu on Thursday declared that AP Capital Amaravati will be included in 100 Smart Cities list of NDA Government. This is his first visit to Vijayawada after getting elected to Rajya Sabha from Rajasthan. BJP Leaders and Party Workers have given him a rousing reception at Gannavaram airport on this occasion.
Venkaiah Naidu told Union Government is working on providing Crop insurance to farmers with minimal premium. He claimed the agenda of NDA is to double the income of farmers in the country. 'When economy of developed nations has slowed down, India is developing at a fast pace. Centre has been providing a subsidy of Rs 27 on 1 kg rice,' he said.
BJP AP Unit President Kambhampati Haribabu told Polavaram projects works will be carried out through Polavaram Authority. He declared no other state in the country has received as much assistance from Centre in the past two years.
