A Passenger of a Jet Airways flight from Damam to Mumbai was arrested for allegedly forcing an Air Hostess to take a selfie with her.
When the Air Hostess realized that someone is following her, She turned around to find a passenger identified as Abubakar standing behind her. Soon, The Passenger asked for a selfie but she turned down the appeal. Even after she sat in her seat, He kept standing behind her. When she got up, Abubakar got hold of her hand and said, 'Chalo Na Yaar, Ek Selfie Lethe Hai'. Finally, He dared to grab her by her shoulder and forcibly took a selfie.
Immediately, Air Hostess raised her voice and four members of Cabin Crew came to her rescue. The passenger than rushed to the toilet and returned after smoking. Crew Members warned him about the consequences of his misbehavior and using a cigar on flight.
Abubakar who hails from Gujarat is an employee of a hotel in Damam, Saudi Arabia. A Case under Sections 354, 336 and Aircraft Rules Section 25 has been filed. Probe has ordered into the security lapse allowing a passenger to carry cigar and lighter into the flight. The mobile of the accused has been seized.
