HYDERABAD: The power supply to various grid stations suspended following the continued heavy rainfall across the Sindh province that has also damaged vast farmlands.
Rainfall affected hundreds of acres of standing crops in Badin district only. More than 700 coastal villages were cut off from the main cities.
According to the details, the power that suspended at 2pm on Wednesday in various areas of Hyderabad could not yet been restored.
The prolonged electricity outage was also reported in Jamshoro and Tandoalayar and the power supply could not be restored yet.
Low-lying areas of Mirpurkhas, Tharparkar, Nagarparkar, Thar, Chacharo and Chor among other areas inundated following the heavy rainfalls and at least seven people were hurt in rain related incidents.
