Sindh Labour minister visits SESSI hospitals

Sindh Minister for Labour Ameer Nawab visited the hospitals in Hyderabad and Jamshoro districts run by Sindh Employees Social Security Institution (SESSI) on Wednesday and expressed dismay over the lack of cleanliness and other facilities.

The minister asked the concerned heads of the hospitals to maintain cleanliness and provide a healthy environment to the patients.

"We will not tolerate any negligence in the health service offered to the poor labourers," he warned.

The minister informed that in order to provide health facilities to the labourers the Labour Department spent Rs 214.59 million in the last three months.

Nawab said his party, Awami National Party (ANP), represented labours and would support them in their cause and for their health and welfare.

Later, the minister also met a local leader of the ANP Haji Asmatullah Khan and offered him condolence over the death of his son.
