TRS Government on Wednesday announced IT and IT-enabled services exports surpassed Rs 75,000 crore mark during the financial year 2015-16. A growth of 13.26 percent, which is above national average, has been recorded when compared to previous year.
In the press meet, IT Minister K Taraka Rama Rao proudly claims Telangana IT exports cross Rs 75,000 this year against Rs 66,276 crore generate last year. 'While the National Growth in IT Exports stood at 12.3 percent, Telangana managed to get 13.26 percent. Our aim is to double the exports by 2019, ' he declares.
IT Sector in Telangana created employment for 35,611 individuals in the past one year. The total count of IT Professionals in the state were 4,07,385.
