Prime Minister Narendra Modi found fault with the remarks of Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy on RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan.
NaMo felt the comments of Swamy were inappropriate and told he won't defend whether its someone from BJP or the other. He cautioned MP saying such kind of publicity stunts would do no good to the Nation. He opined people should behave in a responsibly manner and must be aware of the fact 'no one is bigger than the system'.
At the same time, Narendra Modi came in support of Raghuram Rajan by saying, 'I believe his patriotism is no less than that of any of us'. He added, Mr.Rajan would continue to serve the country to whatever post he might be appointed.
Speaking about the relations with Pakistan, Modi made it clear that the priority of Centre would peace and will continue the talks with the elected government of the neighbor.
