A British designer has come up with a striking new superyacht concept for an owner who wants to stand out from their super-rich friends on the water.
Andy Waugh’s concept, called Nouveau, lives up to its French name by putting a new spin on the aesthetic of a superyacht thanks to its eye-catching lines and walls that look like tentacles.
In addition to a dramatic design, the stunning vessel would boast an infinity pool, Jacuzzi and waterfall if someone is bold enough to build it.
London-based Waugh, known for his radical concepts and previous work with leading shipbuilders, was inspired by the art nouveau style that was in use in Europe and the US from the late 1800s to World War One.
His dynamic superyacht features an owner’s deck with a full-width suite and balconies on both sides, situated below the bridge deck.
