Why 11-Year-Old wasn't allowed to board AI Flight?

Air India Officials didn't permit a 11-Year-Old Boy, who is facing a serious Heart condition, to board the flight to US by citing lack of Oxygen Cylinder.

Jasraj Singh Saini, a boy with a hole in his heart, was supposed to take flight on Tuesday for June 2nd appointment with a Surgeon before the schedule surgery on June 6th. Inspite of confirming the booking, AI Officials on Tuesday conveyed their inability to permit the boy to board the flight.

An AI Official explained, Its not possible to provide Oxygen for two passengers on a 17-hour-flight. As an elderly passengers booked his ticket prior to the Kid, He was given first preference to use the oxygen cylinder. Sainis were informed prior about the situation and they were given the choice to choose another flight on any other day.

On Wednesday, Jasraj Singh Saini boarded the same flight but he is gonna miss the June 2nd appointment. Now, Family Members have to reschedule the appointment. Hopefully, Jasraj's surgery turns out to be successful.
