Pongal release Thala Ajith's Veeram is eligible for 30% entertainment tax exemption to be given by the Tamil Nadu Government, believing it to be a clean entertainer.
Ajith's producers are all happies as his recently released Vishnuvardhan directed Arrambam was also given clean U certificate and now his Veeram passed the censor board with flying colours. Both Arrambam that earned good profits for being a clean entertainer and upcoming Veeram produced by A. Raghuram and Vijaya Productions respectively got entertainment tax exemption.
Directed by Siva of Siruthai fame, Veeram casts Tamanna as the female lead for Ajith, while Viddarth and Vidyu Raman played key roles. Devi Sri Prasad has composed passable tunes for Veeram that are expected to strike audiences chord with Ajith's majestic on-screen presence.
Veeram has completed its censor formalities with a clean U certificate from the board and filmmakers have confirmed the release date as 10th January.
