Anupama Parameswaran, the curly haired beauty of Premam comes to K Town with Kodi, the Dhanush starrer. The film is gearing up for a release next week, the 28th October. We catch up with the actress: How Kodi happened? The director Durai Senthilkumar gave an outline of the story and my character. I liked it and that’s how I came on board Kodi. Your role in Kodi I play an egg vendor called Malathy. It is a partially rural character and is very different from the other roles I have done till date. I am like a typical Tamil girl in the movie. I have tried to give my own dimension to this role.
The audiences should see and give their feedback. Dhanush and Trisha It was great working with Dhanush and the experience added to my learning curve a lot. I feel honored to have worked with such a versatile performer. I did have a couple of combination scenes with Trisha. She is a great actress. Both Dhanush and Trisha have been in the industry for a long time and are highly experienced. As a newcomer, I had the opportunity of learning a lot from them. Did you dub in Kodi? I dubbed for myself in Kodi. The director guided and supported me in this.
I don’t know how it has come out, but I am happy that I spoke for myself. Difference between Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam industries I am not that experienced to comment on this. But I feel they are more or less similar but for the difference in the languages. In Tamil and Telugu I have to learn the dialogues more than Malayalam. . Other projects Currently, I am doing a Malayalam and a Telugu film. I am yet to sign a Tamil film. Discussions are going on and things are yet to be finalized. We wish you the best Anupama!
