Rumors were abuzz that Ajith starrer 'Billa' will not hit the screens for this Deepavali. The news came as a disappointment for millions of Ajith fans across the State.
But quick to put the rumors to rest is director Vishnuvardhan. According to the director, 'The film will hit theatres on Deepavali day. It would surely satisfy the fans of both 'Superstar' Rajnikanth and 'Ultimate Star' Ajith kumar'.
Billa is a remake of yesteryear Rajnikanth classic titled the same. It stars Nayanthara, Namitha among others in the cast.
Says Vishnuvardhan, 'Billa has been shaping up well. The performance of Ajith will be the highlight of the movie. Understanding that expectations are high since the film is the remake of a 'Superstar' starrer, Ajith has come out with his best'.
Only two more songs need to be filmed, Vishnuvardhan said and added they would be canned in Malaysia.
