Atlee directorial movie Theri starring Vijay, Samantha, Amy Jackson and many others is getting phenomenonal response in both Tamilnadu and Kerala.The film has collected 13.5 crore rupees on the opening day in Tamilnadu alone despite some issues in the Chengalpet area.
And it is to note that this is the best ever opening for Vijay in his career.In Kerala Theri has raked in 3.3 crore rupees on the first day, which is the highest ever opening in Mollywood.
As per the latest report, the film has collected 21 crore rupees from Tamilnadu in the first two days, and the trade experts predict that the film's gross collection may cross the 40 crore mark within the weekend.Meanwhile, “Theri” is having a dream run in North America, and according to its distributor CineGalaxy Inc it has collected $390,000 from two days, which is the highest for a non-Rajinikanth starrer.
