Jeevan, who started his film career as the hero with the film University followed it as the menacing villain in Khaakha Khaakha.
Khaakha Khaakha, which featured him in the role of a dreaded underworld don opposite Suriya, propelled his career.
However, the tall hero who had undergone an acting course in USA was determined to make a comeback as hero.
Thanks to Susi Ganesan, Jeevan did realise his dream with Thiruttu Payalae.
His role as anti-hero won him rave reviews and also good offers.
Jeevan is now playing hero in Naan Avanillai and Machakaran. The former has Sneha, Malavika, Namitha, Jyothirmayi and Keerthi Chawla playing his heroines while the latter features Kamna Jethmalani opposite him. Also, efforts are on to get his long-pending Thotta released at the earliest.
A happy Jeevan says, 'I am happy to be back in the thick of things again. All my forthcoming films are quite different from each other. I am fortunate to be part of movies which have a good storyline.'
Among them Naan Avanillai is the remake of yesteryear blockbuster of the same title which had Gemini Ganesan playing the lead role.
