Veteran actor Mohan is keen to regain his lost glory with 'Sutta Oazham'. The movie marks the re-entry of Mohan, who had done over 100 films including blockbusters like 'Payanangal Mudivathilai', 'Thendralae Ennai Thodu'. 'Rettaival Kuruvi', 'Idhaya Kovil', 'Mouna Ragam' and 'Udhaya Geetham'.
Asked why the actor is making a comeback, he says, ' I agreed to act in the film because of director G.K. When he first offered me the role, I turned it down as I was busy producing serials for Sun Network. But he persisted. When he narrated the story to me, I liked it and agreed to do the role. The film is a comedy thriller'.
Mohan in the recent years produced several television serials. Mohan also created a record of sorts in 1984, when 19 films (he was the hero) were released and most were hits.
Having worked with greats including Balu Mahendra and Manirathinam, Mohan says, 'if the storyline is good, I would continue to act'.
The combination of Mohan and music Maestro Ilayaraja in the 80s was phenomenal as almost all the songs went on to become trend setting hits.
