In a sensational development director A.R. Murugadoss was said to have taken away by the police in a shocking manner today (February 29). The police is said to have taken away the director when he was coming out of writer Sujatha's house where he had gone to pay his tributes to the writer.
The problem, according to sources, is related to the financial problems pertaining to the blockbuster 'Ghajini', which fetched him a lot of fame. The arrest took place following a complaint filed by producer Salem Chandrasekhar who produced 'Ghajini'. The producer in his complaint is believed to have stated that Murugadoss had not consulted him on the Hindi remake and he was also not paid his share for remaking the film.
Police sources confirm that the Salem police have arrested the director. Murugadoss has earlier given hits in 'Dheena' and 'Ramana' with Ajith and
Vijayakanth respectively. He has also directed Chiranjeevi in Telugu. Currently, the talented young director is busy directing Aamir Khan for the Hindi remake of 'Ghajini'.
