Official: Vishal confirms 'Thupparivaalan' release date

Actor Vishal's 'Kaththi Sandai' will be hitting the screens this Friday amid huge positive buzz. The film directed by Suraaj with the presence of Vaigaipyuyal Tamannah, Vadivelu and Soori as Vishal's co-stars promises to be a sumptuous mixture of action, romance, comedy and glamour.After 'Kaththi Sandai' the next release of Vishal as a hero will be 'Thupparivaalan' directed by highly acclaimed filmmaker Mysskin. The film's shooting commenced in September 2016 and has been progressing on a rapid pace since then.Now Vishal who is also producing the film under his Visha Film Factory banner has confirmed in his exclusive Red Carpet Interview to IndiaGlitz, that 'Thupparivalan' will be hitting the screens on April 14, 2017 for the Tamil New Year festival season. He also confirmed that he plays a detective in the film.Anu Immanuel makes her Kollywood debut playing the female lead in 'Thupparivaalan' The ensemble star cast includes  Akshara Haasan, Vinay Rai, Prasanna, Andrea Jeremiah and K.Bhagyaraj plays the lead antagonist for the first time.Arrol Corelli is taking care of musical score of the film.Vishal has always announced the release date of his films well in advance and hardly he has missed the target. Given this, we can be assured that we will get to see 'Thupparivaalan' on silverscreens on April 14, 2017.It must be noted that Thala Ajith's 'AK 57' is also targeting a Tamil New Year 2017 release. If things go as planned it will be the second time Vishal will be clashing with Ajith.The first time the clash of Thala and Puratchi Thalapathi happened during Diwali 2013 when 'Arrambam' and 'Pandiyanaadu' clashed at the Box Office and both the films were successful.
