DPI leader Thol Thirumavalavan's maiden venture as hero Anbu Thozhi will hit the screens this weekend. The movie starring Thirumavalavan in the role of a rebel leader finally hits the screen after troubles it faced with the censor board. Anbu Thozhi has Thirumavalavan playing the role of a rebel leader championing the cause of the Eazham Tamils. After the Censor Board saw the film, they raised strong objections and denied the film an A certificate. They objected to the scenes that are glorifying LTTE leader Velupillai Prabhakaran. As per reports, the movie has cuts in 9 controversial scenes.
