Rajinikanth and Latha Rajinikanth have started visiting friends and relatives to invite them for the weeding of their second daughter Soundarya. Soundarya and Chennai based Ashwin Kumar are getting married on September 3rd.
Rajinikanth with his wife visited the home of Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi today morning and formally invited him with his family for the wedding. Rajini also visited the Poes Garden residence of former Chief Minister J. Jayalalitha and invited her for the wedding. Soundarya and Ashwin Kumar got engaged in February this year.
The marriage will be at the Raja Muthiah Hall on September 3rd and a reception will be held on September 2nd. The wedding is going to be a high profile affair where the who’s who of Indian politics and films are expected to attend. Amitabh with his family Jaya Bachchan, Abishek and Aishwarya will attend. Apart from Indian celebrities, Hollywood actor Richard Gere is also expected to attend the wedding.
Groom Ashwin Kumar is an engineering graduate who did his higher studies in the United States. He is currently looking after his father’s construction business in Chennai. Soundarya is also a producer whose maiden venture 'Goa' hit screens recently. She is currently producing the animation film ‘Sultan the Warrior’ staring his super star father which is in its final stages of production.
