Actor-producer Suriya has said that he was ready to star in a film with ‘Thala’ Ajith if the latter wished so.
Suriya’s latest film 24 – which has him essaying triple roles including that of the antagonist – released last Friday in more than 2,000 cinema halls the world over.
Initial reports say that the film has been received with great enthusiasm and support by Suriya’s fans as well as movie-goers who appear to have taken a huge liking to the sci-fi film which has ‘time travel’ as the core of its script.
Suriya has produced the film directed by Vikram Kumar (of Yaavarum Nalam fame). Samantha and Nithya Menen are his heroines in the film which showed the ‘negative’ side of Suriya for the first time in his career as his fans seem to be loving the villain’s role.
Suriya took part in the premier show of the film hosted in U.S. and conversed casually with his fans after the show.
When one of his fans asked when he would star in a film with ‘Thala’ Ajith Kumar, Suriya shot back saying he was ready to act with Ajith at any time if the latter wished so.
This has gladdened the hearts of Suriya and Ajith’s fans as Suriya and Ajith have never starred together in the past.
