Ilayathalapathy Vijay's upcoming cop thriller film Theri has already been announced to hit the screens on 14th April, as a Tamil new year special.Now, the official announcement from the makers of Suriya's 24 confirms that this film will release on the same date. This is not the first time these stars clash, and it has occurred twice earlier.24 directed by Vikram Kumar is said to be a Sci-fi film, and will have Samantha as the female lead.Meanwhile, Vijay's Theri too has Samantha as the lead heroine, and the film is currently in post production stage.
