Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s Velayudham is currenly being shot at Kannampalayam, a village near Thirumoorthy Malai in Pollachi. Incidentally Kannampalayam is where ace comedian Goundamani was born in and few scenes have been shot in Goundamani’s house too. During the shooting Vijay and director Jayam Raja met with Goundamani’s Mother. Goundamani’s mother wished the Velayudham team all the best for the movie’s success.
