Vijay’s Velayudham is moving on a faster pace for its completion. Recently the team has shot the climax action sequences in Visakhapatnam with Hollywood stunt choreographer Tom Delmar and it is heard that the climax portion is the highlighting feature of the film.
After the action scenes are wrapped up director Jayam Raja has shot Vijay’s intro song Sonna Puriyaadhu…Sollukkul Adangaadhu with 1000 dancers. To our surprise the team of Velayudham has spent Rs 1.25 crores just for the intro song. Just imagine how well the song could have been shot expecting to be a kuthu number the song will stand as another highlighting factor of the film. Now all the fans of Vijay are eyeing on the audio of the film. Music director Vijay Anthony has finished composing 4 songs so far and the audio is expected by April 31st, 2011.
The film is the remake of yesteryears Telugu film Azad which stars Nagarjuna, Shilpa Shetty and Soundarya in the lead roles. Director Jayam Raja is making all efforts to release the film on Vijay’s birthday, June 22nd, 2011.
