Vikramaditya who debuted as a hero with Whistle, is the lead actor in K Panneerselvam directed Thollaipesi.
This is the first film for director Panneerselvam, who has assisted director Fazil of Poovae Poochoodava, Varusham 16 and Kadhalukku Mariyadhai fame.
Priyanka, who shot to fame with the recent super-hit film Veyyil, plays Vikramaditya's pair in the film. Debutants Arthi Thakur and Divya, models from Mumbai, also play significant roles in the film. Nizhalgal Ravi also plays a prominent role.
This film which is produced under the banner Blue Waters Movie Makers, has cinematography by Shankar and music by S Santhakumar. The shooting is taking place at scenic locales in Courtrallam, Munnar and Ooty.
