Earlier Samantha was supposed to play the female lead in Dhanush's next film Vada Chennai but now rumours suggest that she has been replaced by Amala Paul. Apparently, Sam's demands of high remuneration has been the reason for this replacement. Director Vetrimaaran has now zeroed in on Amala Paul for his film but the deal is yet to be signed. Vada Chennai, a trilogy, will be produced by Dhanush's own banner Wunderbar films and the movie also stars Andrea, Samuthirakani and Daniel Balaji.
