The new executive body of APFCC has been completed on 10th this instant with electing K S Rama Rao was elected as president, TS Ram Prasad as Chief Secretary and later M Vijayedar Reddy was added as one more Chief Secretary.
On July 27th elections were held and further elections held on 10th for the remaining posts.
Speaking with media persons with new office bearers KS Rama Rao said that the organization is dealing with tax related and other grievances is representing the State Government on various problems relating to the film industry such as settling of film industry in the Andhra Pradesh, getting concessional rate of tax for the films produced in Andhra Pradesh, rationalizing the admission rates in theatres, getting loans for the infrastructure units and commercial theatres etc.
The A. P. Film Chamber of Commerce is representing the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh from time to time for considerable relief and financial aid to the Exhibitors from the State Government whenever natural calamities hit the State in the form of concessional and relief.
He also clarified the first priority will be given to find solutions to these problems and integrate energy and unity to strengthen the organization.
During the meeting other bearers K. Murali Mohan /Treasurer of APFCC, Additional Secretaries V.Veeri Naidu and K Sambasiva Rao were also present.
