The success meet of Thulasi was held at the Film Nagar Cultural Club on October 24. There was the glow of success all around as the film's team and hero Venkatesh interacted with the mediapersons.
Just back from Mysore, Venkatesh looked toned and many years younger and fresh. But the little star of the evening was the cute and chubby Master Athulith.
He walked in on his own, in baggy pants and a deep blue shirt and khakhi waistcoat. Though his father was around, Athulith was happy to sit among his seniors and thoroughly enjoyed all the attention he got from the film' team and media. He spoke like a pro and charmed all!
Paruchuri Brothers' too expressed their happiness about the film's success. Paruchuri Venkateshwara Rao, who also did a cameor in the film, said that he was happy to break the image that Venkatesh had set for himself in the past few years.
"He has been trying to do a Shoban Babu of late. We wrote the story and dialogues for Kaliyuga Pandavulu and Brahmaputrudu. Venkatesh was introduced as a mass hero, but over the years, he has been doing films in which he had relegated himself to softer roles. Thulasi has seen the re-emergence of his macho image. And we hope to exploit further in the days to come," he said.
His younger brother Gopalakrishna said he was happy that Thulasi was making huge money at the box-office.
Others who were present at the do included Dr D Ramanaidu, Jayaprakash, stunt masters Ram-Laxman, lyricist Sahiti, Uttej and Jhansi who also doubled up as an anchor, among others.
Dr Ramanaidu said that he was happy that the risk taken by Suresh had paid off. Jhansi had all in splits by repeating her dialogues as Kokapeta aunty and thanked hero Venkatesh for his perfect timing in the scene.
Lyricist Sahiti too expressed his happiness about being a part of the Suresh Productions' banner and said that the film's success would always be a special memory in his life!
Last but not the least, hero Venkatesh, disclosed that he was pretty relaxed during the making of the film. "I had learnt from my father that one should take the ups and downs gracefully," he said and thanked all for making Thulasi a hit.
