Allu Arjun-starrer Telugu romantic entertainer “Iddarammayilatho” has raked in Rs.8.01 crore on first day in Andhra Pradesh. Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the film released worldwide May 31. “The film approximately collected a net share of Rs.8.01 crore in Andhra Pradesh on release day. It has also managed to do good business in rest of the country,” Trade analyst Trinath said. Reportedly made on a budget of Rs.40 crore, “Iddarammayilatho” also features Catherine Tresa, Amala Paul, Brahmanadam, Nassar, Kaajal Vashisht, Subbaraju and Ali in important roles. Produced by Bandla Ganesh, the film is the second collaboration between Puri and Arjun after Telugu blockbuster “Desamuduru”.
