'Dhruva' Pre-Release function was truly a show of strength. Mega fans from all over AP and Telangana in thousands came out to attend the event that was held on Sunday at Police Lines in Yousufguda in Hyderabad.
More number of fans was seen at this function than earlier Charan’s audio events. Hundreds of fans were waiting outside on the roads too who couldn’t get entry.
Apart from the lead pair Ram Charan and Rakul Preet Singh, the event also saw host of movie stars like Aravind Swamy who played the villain’s role in the movie and Rana who graced as guest.
Telangana state IT and Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao was the chief guest. Ghanta Srinivas Rao, Andhra Pradesh Minister for Human Resources, also graced.
Ram Charan said he had worked hard for this movie though he treats every movie as special.
“After the mega blockbuster Magadheera, I didn’t do a movie for Geetha Arts. Perhaps, I was waiting for special movie. I can confidently say this is the one I was waiting for. I thank Surender Reddy for accepting this remake,” he said.
Minister KTR said number 9 is lucky to Ram Charan. “This is Charan’s 9th film. I have seen all his movies so far. His car number is 9. If you add his birth day it comes as 9. And Dhurva is releasing on 9th December. So I am sure it will bring luck to him.”
He also said if the team plans to hold the success meet in Vizag he would attend it. Aravind Swamy who played the villain’s role said he enjoyed doing this remake.
“They have done minor changes to the story which I feel essential. I thank Charan for introducing me to Chiranjeevi dosa, which I like very much.”
