Superstar Rajinikant' is a quintessential story of a rags-to-super stardom. From a modest bus conductor to a south Indian superstar, he has come a long way and is an ideal role model for many aspiring youngsters.
Naturally, it does not come as a surprise that writer Gayatri Srikant chose to write his biography. On his part, Rajini too took time off to tell her little known details about himself to lend the book authenticity.
The book was released by Cho Ramaswamy in Chennai. Though the superstar himself was not present at the do, his beautiful daughter Soundarya Rajinikant received the first copy from Cho.
Cho Ramaswamy lauded Rajinikant's determination and drive and added that Rajini was more of a showman than a politician. He spoke about how passionate Rajini was about spiritualism.
Rajini's daughter Soundarya took the opportunity to talk of how gentlemanly her father was and what a good human being and wonderful actor he was. She added that he was an amazing dad and an equally amazing granddad to her sister Aishwarya's child. Dressed in an elegant white, Saawariya cut dress, she was her charming self through out.
