Mega hero Ram Charan Teja will be leaving for the United States on Wednesday evening for the premier show of his film Dhruva, which is releasing all over the world on Friday.
Charan has a high hopes on this action-packed thriller, which is expected to turn around his career. Though a remake of super hit Tamil film Thanni Oruvan, Charan is learnt to have tried his best to give a native touch to this film, so as to make an appeal to the Telugu audiences.
However, sources say, the overseas audiences are not very enthusiastic about Dhruva, as was evident from the poor response to the announcement of premier show.
The ticket is priced at 100 US dollars for the show that Ram Charan attends, but there are not many takers for it. The overseas distributor is in panic mode now.
As if adding to the tension, sources say, Charan has asked the distributor to make all arrangements for his visit to the US for the premier show.
He is learnt to have asked the distributor to book a luxury suit for him in a posh hotel and that would cost 16,000 US dollars for Charan’s stay.
Apparently, the distributor is learnt to have thrown up his hands to bear such huge expenditure, as he was not sure whether he would recover even half the amount from the film after the release.
