Cinematographer Teja turned a director with 'Chitram' produced on the prestigious banner of Ushakiron Movies and bagged a sensational hit right from his debut film. The total budget of the film was just Rs 47 lakhs.
That film had become a role model for several low-budget films. His films like 'Nuvvu-Nenu, Jayam, Avunanna Kadanna, Nijam and Lakshmi Kalyanam' were also proved hits. Now this director is planning to enter into film production and had asked Krishnavamsi to direct the film.
The script work of the movie is in brisk progress. The film is likely to go to sets in the last week of June or in the first week of July.
