Yesteryear actor Jagapathi Babu is the busiest artist in Telugu. He is also getting villain and other character artist roles in star hero films in Tamil and Malayalam. Jaggu Bhai has got a great opportunity to associate with Hollywood filmmaker Steven Spielberg and he is quite excited for this.
Jagapathi Babu has lent his voice for the lead role in Telugu version of upcoming Hollywood flick 'The BFG'. Apparently, they have used many filters and other technology, since we won't feel it was Jagapathi Babu's voice. Since the animation character 'The BFG' is old, Jaggu Bhai was required uttering the dialogues with shivering voice.
Seems like, the Hollywood filmmakers have roped in Japathi Babu to cash on his popularity. For the Tamil version, senior actor Nasser has dubbed for the role. 'The BFG' is based on 1982 children's book of same name written by Roald Dahl and illustrated by Quentin Blake. It is an expansion of a short story from Dahl's 1975 book Danny, the Champion of the World.
BFG stands for Big Friendly Giant. The film is about an orphan human girl befriends a benevolent giant who takes her to Giant Country, where they attempt to stop man-eating giants that are invading the human world.
