Recently the release date of Baahubali: The Conclusion is fixed up as April 28th, 2017, though it is earlier publicised as April 14th. Many are said to be wondered why this date is altered.
Actually producer Karan Johar who has brought the rights of "Baahubali 2" Hindi version want this sequel of the film to be released on 28th because that will get a long weekend for the movie with May 1st holiday falling on Monday. If Baahubali 2 could cash on the 4-day weekend then it's going to be highly helpful for distributors across India, who have spent 300 crores nearly to own distribution rights.
That will be a win-win situation for both distributors and also the producers. That's how this new date emerged. Missing this logic, how come Rajamouli okayed 14th earlier? Maybe he thought 14th is Ambedkar Jayanthi holiday.
