Jyothika was born to Chander Sadanah, a film producer, and Seema Sadanah, in Mumbai, India. Actress
Jyothika Saravanan (née Sadanah, born on 18 October 1977) is an Indian actress who predominantly appeared in Tamil films.
She also acted in a few Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi films. She gained critical acclaim for her performances in Kushi, Perazhagan, Chandramukhi and Mozhi, winning three Filmfare and three Tamil Nadu State Film Awards. She was the most successful actress in the Tamil film industry of her time. She is also a recipient of the Kalaimamani award.
jyothika has appeared in many commercials for brands like Idhayam oil and Paragon footwear. She was also the brand ambassador for RmKV silk sarees and a wardrobe hub in Chennai. Later she appeared in ads for Aircel and Nescafé along with Suriya.
