Actress was in town for the Press Meet of Banaras

"Banaras is an epitome of everything that we call India", says Urmila Matondkar. An innocent Girl of Masoom to Rangilla Girl in "Rangeela", Urmilla has grown as a matured artist. However she has done variety in her characters but the appreciation from the public remains the same. She was presently in Delhi with the Unit of "Banaras- A mystic Love story" in Hotel Inter Continental for the promotion of the movie which will soon been released in theaters. The movie has been written and produced by L.C. Singh, President and CEO of Pune Based IT Industry, Nihilent Technologies, whereas the movie has been directed by Pankuj Parashar one of the finest director of Indian cinema.

Sensational Urmila said that the role of "Shwetambari" in the movie "Banaras- A mystic Love story" was really a challenging job for her. She had to read many books and the most difficult was task for her was to understand and feel the character of Shwetambari who is a physics student and who believes in spirituality. The first half of the film was a cake walk for her but for the second half was a real challenge for her as she had to understand the whole integrity of the film. Urmila is very choosey in selecting the movies and so she is referred as Lady Aamir Khan in Bollywood, but incredible content of the film made Urmilla select the movie "Banaras - A mystic Love story". Commenting on this statement Lady Aamir Khan of the bollywood said "I am honored to be referred as Lady Aamir Khan as I believe that quality rather than the quantity, matters for a film carrier."

L.C. Singh the producer of the movie wanted to communicate the young generation about the cultural heritage which is being discarded by them. He also wanted to educate the people about the rich cultural heritage that we possess. The idea of the movie existed in the mind of Singh's mind for a long time but the constraints of time and commitment to It business held him back. Producer of the movie said that the story will touch your heart and sole. Describing the reason for selecting Varanasi as the place for shooting Singh said "Banaras is an epitome of everything that we call India".

Pankuj Parashar who earlier feature films include Ab Aayega Mazaa (1983), Jalwa (1987), and Chalbaaz (1989) joins hands with producer L.C. Singh to give us a mystic love story which contains the element of Spirituality and Mysticism. Parashar said "It took them 45 days to come out with a Lovely movie "Banaras- A mystic Love story" which captures the flavor of holy city Banaras. The concept of this is purely original which is served as a medium to communicate the youngster about the rich heritage and the history of India. Parashar said that it wasn't tough for him on the sets since the artists were matured enough to understand the emotions and the feeling which were actually required by their characters."
