After Outrage! Ranveer Singh Apologises for Sexist Ad

Earlier this week, the Jack and Jones ad featuring Ranveer Singh has landed in a huge controversy as it was criticised for the sexist remarks. The twitterati has commented it to be offensive against the working women.

Also, few celebrities like actor Siddharth have condemned this ad. Now actor Ranveer has issued a statement in which he has apologised. He also mentioned that he would do anything to disrespect women.

"It was important to give the brand creative freedom while designing their campaign, but I guess we got it wrong on one of those billboards and I'm sorry this happened but it's a thing of the past. We rectified it immediately by having that hoarding taken down as soon as possible from everywhere in over 30 cities overnight. I treat all women with the utmost respect both professionally and personally, and would never do anything to disrespect them," he quoted.

Earlier actor Siddharth has tweeted that it is a new low for office going women.
