Akshay-Preeti-Sushmita-Celina-Saif HEAT' up Dubai

The atmosphere in Dubai was ignited as 'heat' built up with appearance of Akshay Kumar, Preeti Zinta, Sushmita Sen, Celina Jaitley and Saif Ali Khan as a part of HEAT world tour.

Undoubtedly Akshay Kumar was expected to take the stage by storm but not before the ladies too had done their bit! And didn't they simply sizzle?

Celina Jaitley, with her intro act, put the crowd in the right mood, swaying to hit numbers, including Deedar De, No Entry and Kajra Re, followed by "chhote nawab" Saif Ali Khan, who straight out of an appendicitis operation was unable to boogey away the night, but still made it a point to appear on stage to talk to his fans.

But once Preity Zinta took to the stage, she dimpled her way into everyone's hearts. Attired in Indian wear, she performed to her songs from Hum Tum, Veer Zara and Mission Kashmir.

When Sushmita Sen came on next, the Miss Universe tag was much evident in her posturing and the way she interacted with the crowd, be it acknowledging their applause or calling up children to perform with her onstage. She was the consummate "Beauty Queen", even as she introduced her mother who resides in Dubai to the crowd.

Action hero Akshay Kumar was the 'star' of the show in his trademark shades, as he incorporated his martial arts training with his dancing prowess. Being the only male performer ensured that he was the centre of all female attention. His interactive session with the audience had him jumping off the stage on more than one occasion where he could be seen pushing aside frantic fans who came too close to him. He displayed his vocal skills with a solo rendition of 'Bheege Honth Ter', accompanied onstage by Jennifer whose spirited performance later really shook up the crowd.

The final act which had all of them coming together for a non-choreographed act, saw Preity taking care of Saif and making sure he was seated comfortably in a corner of the stage as she along with Akshay, Celina and Sushmita took centre stage.
