There was a time in the early 90s when a phenomenon arrived on the Indi-pop scene [a relatively new term then] by the name of Baba Sehgal.
With number of hits under his belt, singing assignments followed with his 'Rukkmani' [Roja] topping the charts for weeks at stretch. He went on to sing and compose for number of films and also tried his hands at acting in films like 'Miss 420' and 'Double Gadbad', none of which made any impression with the audience. He tried cutting a few films now and then over the years but the popularity gained by him in the early and mid-90s was missing in a big way.
Now he is back in the thick of the things as he composes for a children's film 'BHOOT UNKLE' that stars Jackie Shroff in the lead role along with number of kids. The music video from the film is already on air and also features Baba Sehgal who brings back a nostalgic feel through his on-screen antics!
