It is for the first time in India that a bunch of film students from a foreign University have joined an Indian international school to study Bollywood cinema A dozen of these students from Syracuse University USA are stationed in Mumbai at present and have joined a one month course specially designed by Whistling Woods for them. Training is in the form of attending classes and hands on workshops at the institute in film city and also visiting various shoots happening across Mumbai.
Commenting on this Subhash Ghai said, "World cinema is coming closer every year and I am glad to see that Western film makers are appreciating and adopting the sensibility of Indian cinema too. We welcome them always to see our cinema and people through cinema."
