Kunika, who has been on the Bollywood scene for exactly a couple of decades, and has acted in more than 50 Hindi films, is now turning over to Bhojpuri films. She has just made her debut as a Bhojpuri film producer with her MAATI hitting the marquee.
The film stars Bhojpuri superstar Rabi Kishan in the lead along with Hiten Kumar, Swati Verma, Gunjan Kapoor and Riya Walia. Kunika also plays a major role in the film as Ravi Kishan's mother who is out to take revenge on those who murdered her husband in a conspiracy.
A true-blue 'masala' outing which promises to come with the right doses of action, emotion, drama, romance and comedy, MAATI is directed by Sunil Prasad who shot to fame with DULHA MILAL DILDAR.
