Salman Khan proved once again that he is the man of the masses!
On his release from the jail, he was welcomed by a horde of his fans who arrived with 'dhols' at his residence and sang'n'dance in front of the gates. Salman Khan, along with his bodyguard, made an appearance at his house's entrance and obliged his fans by meeting them and even handshaking and hugging some of them. All this while members from his family looked emotionally at the scenes happening in front of them. Such was a frenzy of crowd that Salman couldn't resist but remove his white T-short and throw it back at the youngsters! The result was something that masses have love for years - a BARE CHESTED SALMAN!

ON DIFFICULTIES FACED DURING HIS JAIL STAY
I am not a very fussy person and can adjust as per the situation. (In a lighter vein) It's only with media that I sometimes get a bit irritated. But today I want to use this forum to thank all my fans and well wishers who thronged in dozens to see me, support me and pray for me and my family's well being. I also have special words for the man who cared for me the most during my jail stay. This inmate has been facing a 14 years imprisonment but still took good care of me.
ON LOVE SHOWN BY HIS FANS
It comes a pleasant shock to me as even I never expected such a wide spread support from my fans. It's because of them that today I am out of jail and a free man. (Again in a lighter vein) If this is the kind of response you get from your fans if you spend some time in jail then I would love to visit a jail for a short duration once every year!
IS HE WORRIED ABOUT A 5 YEAR JAIL TERM
Whether it is a one day jail term or a week or a year or 5 years - the only thing that I want is that when I return back, I see my parents, brothers, sisters, nephew, niece and other family members to be in the best of their health and doing perfectly fine. These are the people who matter to me the most.
ON HIS JAIL EXPERIENCE
It is not the kind of life that people like you and me deserve. Really! It's bad to be confined in a jail and definitely not a pleasant experience at all. Though it was a short stay, it made me see so many things. I would urge everyone not to do anything unlawful that results in your being sent to jail!
WHETHER HE WOULD BE FRIENDS AGAIN WITH VIVEIK OBEROI AFTER HIS VISIT TO HIS MOM IN HOSPITAL
(This is one question that he clearly evaded) There were so many well wishers who came to see me when I was lodged in jail. There were people like Govinda, Sajid Nadiadwala, David Dhawan and others who flew down especially for this. I am so happy that there were people who stood by me in my time of need!
