Besides sticking to doing a solitary film a year when most actors of his age are involved in two or even three films a year, Saif Ali Khan is also acquiring an unwanted reputation of ditching films after consenting to them. According to DNA India, the latest film that the Nawab has walked out off is Salman Khan Films’ Jugalbandi, which is being helmed by Sameer Sharma of Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurrana fame.
However, the makers have already found a replacement in Fawad Khan, who has agreed to be a part of the film that revolves around two musicians – one a rookie and the other a veteran – who become close friends only to have a fallout because of ego issues. Since Fawad is a part-time musician himself and belongs to the younger brigade of actors, he suits the character of the upstart musician perfectly. The role of the senior musician will be played by Anil Kapoor.
