Remembering the legend in the Hindi film world, Kishore Da, who rendered his immortal voice to few stars over the span of 30 years, would have been 79 if survives today.

However, later it ended up with Kishore to become as a versatile person with acting, singing, composing and producing etc.

Kishore's most successful career was as a playback singer backed by his golden voice supporting not alone actors but also producers to run their show.

He worked with musicians by generation, for example both Burman S D and his on R D Burman for number of films.

He was a singer-actor a rare outdated practice by that time since lot of years passed since a person combined both in a single performance.

The actor was known for his eccentric behavior and loneliness. However, he remained a ordinary human being in his life. He helped persons even without their knowledge, for instance, helped Arun Kumar Mukherjee a little known actor, when he expired, by keep sending money to his family. He married Madhubala just before her death knowing well that she suffers from cancer. He changed his name as Karim Abdul to just marry her and drawn wreath of his family.

It is quoted several times that he is paranoid of not being paid. He put Hrishikesh Mukherjee under trouble while he only paid half and said he will pay remaining after the completion shooting. Kishore refused and dragged to court and directed to fulfill the directors wish. Next day Kishore appeared before the director half shaven with his head and moustache and demanded the half before acting!

He passed on very birth day of his brother 21 years before and left a mark of his own over Bollywood's Gen-next.
