Many years ago, Jai Santoshi Maa was a box-office hit. Shailendra Singh, head of Percept Picture Company, wants to recreate the magic and is planning to make Maa Santoshi Maa. He plans to release it in Diwali. Ahmed Siddiqui will direct the movie.
PPC bought the rights of Jai Santoshi Maa from producer Satram Rohara. The basic story will be the same only the setting and subject will reflect newness in the film. Vedhika Kumar will play the character of Satyavati. The movie will retain the bhajan Jai jai Santoshi Maa with contemporary sound. Anu Malik will compose the music for the film.
