Months after Jagmohan Mundhra announced his decision of making a film on Sonia Gandhi; the news is out that the idea has been dropped.
Since the day of the film's announcement, there were feelers that Mundhra would face hassles from the supporters of Mrs. Gandhi to make this film. In spite of Mundhra trying his best to convince them about the honest intentions of the film, there was no respite and he was left with no choice but to scrap the project. The film was supposed to star Italian actress Monica Bellucci in the lead role as Mrs. Gandhi.
Now Mundhra is gearing up for the worldwide release of Aishwarya Rao starrer 'Provoked' which has garnered good reviews in the festivals where it has been screened.
