For a common man, name Reema Kagti at the director's seat may sound quite an unfamiliar name. And why not? After all she is just making her debut with the film. But within the industry she is reasonably well known, especially if one looks at her vast repertoire that she has made in her last 12 years of being a part of the industry.
Though many are aware that this woman from Assam has been an assistant director to Farhan Akhtar for 'Dil Chahta Hai' and 'Lakshya', it may come as a news for many that her first film as an assistant director was 'Private Detective' which was directed by Rajat Kapoor of 'Mixed Doubles' fame. In addition, she has also worked with directors like Honey Irani [Armaan], Ashutosh Gowarikar [Lagaan], Mira Nair [Vanity Fair] and Kaizaad Gustad [Bombay Boys].
Now that's quite a list!
