Her father never gets tired of experimenting with Cinema. The whole of India is waiting for Kamal Haasan's dream film 'Dasavataram' to get to cinema halls.
Meanwhile his daughter Shruti Haasan who is a trained musician from U.S.A. is getting ready to start her own innings in the film industry.
And she is not taking the plunge as a singer but following her famous actor and film maker father, Shruti is making her debut in a film.
Earlier there were news floating around that this soon to be actress is going to do a role opposite Madhavan, but no new developments about this Kollywood movie have appeared in the media so far.
Shruti Haasan has now signed on the dotted line for a role in the movie titled as 'Luck' directed by Soham Shah and produced by Shree Ashtavinayak CineVision Ltd.
The movie has top Bollywood stars such as Sanjay Dutt, Imraan Khan, Mithun Chakraborthy, Danny Denzongpa, Ravi Kisshen and Rati Agnihotri.
As the character that Shruti is going to enact gets involved in lot of action scenes, the makers thought that she will fit in perfectly to the role because of her lean and athletic physique.
The entire shooting of 'Luck' will be done in South Africa.
The music is composed by Salim Suleiman and the camera work by Santosh Thundiyal, who has done cinematography for films like 'Krishh' and 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai'.

Comparison with her famous father is unavoidable.
