We have seen great changes in the way the Bollywood music have shaped up in the recent years. Some years back Hindi Pop music and B-Town music had separate boundaries. Later on the boundaries melted off leaving the pop music and film music to have little differences between them.
This also resulted in lots of musicians joining in the ranks of singers and composers in Bollywood and the face and old techniques of Hindi film music becoming more global, stylish, peppy and loud with ample borrowings from lots of genres of music from around the world.
Later on slowly the style of pure rock music was tried to be incorporated into a lot of new songs by adding on electric leads, and vocal patterns created taking inspiration from the western style rock singing.
But still if you ask any hardcore followers of classic rock music and the different more heavy sub genres of this form of music who frequently gets exposed with the Bollywood music too, if they have ever heard a Hindi film song that can match up with the raw intensity, power, attitude and energy of Rock music, the answer will most probably be a big 'No'.
So it is high time for a drastic change to touch the shores of Bollywood. That's what 'Aryans' must have felt before they created the song 'Kyun' for the launch pad film of the hero Sikander Kher.
'Aryans' the most popular Hindi Rock and Pop Music group in India has come out with the song 'Kyun' for the film 'Woodstock Villa' produced by White Feather Films & Sanjay Gupta . Music of the film will be brought out by T-Series.
'Aryans' who have been nominated multiple times for the music channel awards and have created the largest number of albums in India have called this song as a tribute to pure rock and claims that this song which comes at a very crucial time in the film promises to have a true rock feel, lots of power chords, heavy drum patterns and great lead guitar patterns
Adding to the strength of the song is none other Sanjay Dutt who will be seen singing the song as he portrays the role of a rock star in 'Woodstock Villa'.
Sanjay Dutt's presence in the video of the song is said to have made the song all the more powerful.
As the 'Aryans' music have always been a great mix of original melodies and good rhythms, much can be expected from this song as it's the first song to be composed by 'Aryans' made up of DJ Narain, Sadu, Yakub and Sunny for a film.
They indeed must be hoping to start a new trend of pure rock inspired song making in Bollywood and let loose the start of a new music revolution in B-Town.
By this song sung by Narain and Sadu the 'Aryans' want to introduce a 100% rock song that will become the new benchmark called 'rock' for the music of Mumbai's tinsel world.
Let's hope the rock song will really rock
