vivek oberoi builds 5 lakh houses for poor

Inspired by rehabilitation work at Kurnool during 2004 Tsunami and Prime Minister Narendra Modi's campaign of 'Housing for all by 2022', Vivek Oberoi (Raktha Charithra fame) took up the mission to built 5 lakh houses by the end of 2016.

The Bollywood Actor claims taking part in the rehabilitation work at Kurnool after the Indian Ocean Tsunami has taught him so much could be do to improve the lives the people by providing good facilities with better planning. In addition, PM's vision of House for every Indian motivated him to take up the project without bothering about profits.

Mission 360 is being launched to built houses at 360 locations across Maharashtra. Vivek Oberoi promises to provide houses at an affordable cost of Rs 7,90,000 for the weaker sections. He clarifies only the support of Government was sought but not land.

There is demand for such projects in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Gujarat. Vivek Oberoi, however, is very particular about completing the work in Maharashtra before expanding to other states.
